Skylii Prysm, also known as Skylii, is a Dragon Booster fangirl that came into existence around 2004, and still exists today, spreading her love of the series on various websites. This love would include discussion, contributions, fanart, fanfiction, and many things you would expect from die-hard fans. Skylii joined this Dragon Booster Wikia on August 21, 2008.

[edit] A Tale of a Dragon Booster Fangirl

Once upon a time, Skylii found the show Dragon Booster on CBC and as time went by, got into the series. In fact, the name Skylii was based off her first Dragon Booster OC, which is depicted in the picture above. However, before even posting fics based on this character, she joined the Dragon Booster Discussion Forum in 2005 and immediatelly learned the definition of what a Mary Sue was and the hate surrounding it.

Surprisingly what types of fandom make you learn the most about literature and once had some of the most strictest criticism. However, she digressed as Skylii without the use of posting the fanfiction that could have doomed her, contributing discussion, art, and fanfic to the forum and was a regular on the board.

In between 2005 and 2006, she began to drift from seeing her beloved episodes when CBC decided to be extremely stupid and air Dragon Booster at 6:00 AM in the morning. In fact, it wasn't 6:00 AM by the time a month passed: it was everywhere. It went to the point where she could not care anymore since CBC failed to update Season 3 which she did not like as much as Season 2, and thusforth drifted away from the fandom.

[edit] ...But It Didn't End There

Two years later in the 2008, she had a dream about seeing new Dragon Booster episodes, and immediately going to the Discussion Board to tell everybody about this. She woke with a start to realize, to her disappointment, that it was a dream.

However, this encouraged her to get back into the fandom by still going back to the Discussion Board, and then learning her dream was slightly true: "The Alchemist", a special episode written by Rob Travalino himself for the fans of the forum, was being fan-animated.

It was quite drac. Besides learning that, she drew fanart, continued writing fics, posted around, and has contributed quite a bit more fan-related works than before. To this day, Skylii still greatly enjoys the Dragon Booster fandom, and wishes that her beloved Dragon Booster: Academy will someday be created. Now if only they made the animation as pretty as that other show, 'Storm Hawks.
