There's plenty of mystery surrounding The Academy scout, Sentrus. She hasn't been seen too often, namely in Episodes 27, 31, 35 and 39. She appears middle-aged and really is very tall. It is presumed that she has graduated from the Academy already, and is now employed by them as a talent scout.
She is one of the few characters to wear a long, lean dress and usually has her hair done similar to Moordryd Paynn's. She has pale skin and blue eyes and shares the draconium finger and hand armour that Word Paynn has, although in a different colour.
Sentrus has had her eye on Artha Penn and Moordryd Paynn ever since she first saw them race, and was only interested in them more when she found Artha and the rest of his crew in the Academy library. It was she who helped make the decision in the end to let both into the Academy. Her name is based on the word 'sentry' which means to stand guard and act as a lookout.
